Our worship is contemporary, with many of our congregation members involved in worship leading, and a variety of people bringing the message.
Acknowledging Aboriginal People
From before recorded time the Peramangk people cared for the land in the Adelaide Hills. We praise the Creator for the beauty of this land and honour those who have cared for it. We ask God’s blessing on those who continue to work for the healing and restoration of this land and communities.
On Communion Sundays, usually the first Sunday of the month, we have “All age worship” – our young people like to be included in communion so the kids and youth stay in the service on these Sundays, and the services usually have a focus on appealing to all age groups.
Once a month we have a Youth Service, usually the second Sunday of the month, where the music is provided by our Youth Band. Young people are likely to be found contributing in other areas of the service, and you are more likely to find something unusual, even crazy happening!
On the other Sundays we all join in together for the first part of the service, then the younger people are invited to go out to Youth (Bridgenators), Middle school (God Squad) and Kids Club for the remainder of the time.
Godly Play is a way of sharing Biblical stories that values imagination, creativity and community. Sometimes Godly Play stories are told in our worship services or in Sunday Club. Godly Play stories are told across the world in various denominations and encourage us all in considering the mystery of God.
